Community System has been upgraded

The Community System has been successfully upgraded and resumed, thank you for your patience and understanding. New features are now available:

  • New User Interface and Navigation, enhance user experience by improving ease of use, engagement, and accessibility through simplified tasks and intuitive pathways.
  • Improved text editor, including headless editing for greater flexibility, improved performance and mobile support for a smoother user experience.
  • Updated to Moodle 4.1, includes bug fixes and security enhancements.

Please be informed that ICTO will perform database upgrade and maintenance for UMMoodle, ePortfolio and Community from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 21 November, 2021 (Sunday). All above e-Learning services will be suspended during maintenance period. All services will be resumed to normal once the database maintenance is completed.

Change of Domain Name for Community during 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on 17 April, 2019 (Wednesday)

Please be informed that the domain name of Community will be changed from https://community.umac.mo to https://community.um.edu.mo, and the old domain name will remain effective for a period of time.  ICTO will perform a server maintenance for this change from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on 17 April, 2019 (TODAY), the access to Community may encounter short interruption (around 1 minute) during the said period.
